Interesting Info
Hurst's conversion proposal for the 1973 HO included their new Auto Stick II shifter.  In the June 1973
issue of Super Stock & Drag Illustrated an article detailed a black HO with a prototype Hurst Shifter.

The 1973 Hurst Olds required a change in the rear side window glass.  When the opera window inserts were
installed, the inserts covered up the LOF safety glass logo on the standard Cutlass S rear side window
glass.  LOF built rear side window glass with an additional logo to solve this problem.

The VIN sequence number is stamped twice on the frame of the car on the drivers side.  One stamp is
under the drivers door (3Mxxxxxx).  The last six digits on the frame should match the last six digits of the
  VIN.

An interesting forum website for 73-77 Cutlass information.

The first 1973 proposal car has a build code of 11D.  The car was built the fourth week of November 1972.
