Production
In 1973, 1097 Hurst Olds were produced. 60% of the 1097 cars produced were white with gold stripes and 40% of the cars produced were black with gold stripes. The company that supplied the labor for the 1973 Hurst Olds conversion was WISCO in Ferndale, Michigan.
Production Start - A guideline would be 4/16/73, build code 04C, and VIN sequence number 385000.
Production Stop - A guideline would be 6/22/73, build code 06C, and VIN sequence number 480000.
The above is a guideline and not a hard rule. This also does not include the 2 proposal cars.
I have a pool of 100 cars in the registry that I can use as a sample for 73 HO production. If I use the 100 car sample and apply it to the 1097 cars actually produced I get the below production numbers.
